Spotlight on Bradley Basson

Bradley Basson became the new president of the Namibia Rugby Union when he was elected unopposed at the Namibia Rugby Union’s annual general meeting on March 3.
Basson comes in at a difficult time for the NRU, after its main sponsor MTC as well as the International Rugby Board suspended their financial support following the resignation of the previous executive committee.
Basson, who is a legal practitioner with his own company, B D Basson Incorporated, is however optimistic about the future and believes he can take Namibian rugby to new heights.
