Namibia, SWD draw 3-Day Challenge
Submitted by editor on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 22:25.The 3-Day Challenge CSA match between Namibia and South Western Districts petered out into a draw on Saturday.
The visitors were however always in control and had it not been for a rain disruption, they might well have won the match.
SWD scored 352 in their first innings and then dismissed Namibia for 164. Forced to follow on, Namibia reached 183/4 when the match was called off for a draw.
Christiaan Jonker was SWD’s first innings hero, scoring 190 off 196 runs (13 x 4, 9 x 6), although he was dropped twice - first on 10 and then on 136.
