Namibia’s Brave Warriors will play Zambia in a friendly match in Johannesburg on Saturday, 14 January.

Brave Warriors team manager Tim Isaacs told Namibia Sport that the match was on although the time and venue still had to be confirmed.

Brave Warriors coach Bernard Kaanjuka said they had already started training last week and would be ready for the encounter.

“Zambia have a very good team and they play the same type of football as us. But we will be ready for them - we started training last week already and will continue this week,” he said.

JS Academy defender Lovisa Mulunga is the youngest member at 16 years of age, while JS Academy striker Lena Noreses and Okahandja Beauties midfielder Albertha Dawes are both still only 17.

JS Academy striker Carmel Donn recently turned 18, while team mate Vewe Kotjipati is 19.
