Golden Cheetah victorious in Swakop
Submitted by editor on Wed, 03/23/2011 - 15:53.Swakopmund came alive on Saturday when Athletics Namibia hosted the Rössing Athletics Club Championships at the Swakopmund Athletics Stadium. The Rössing Athletics Club Championships formed part of the second leg of the three leg series of the Athletics Namibia Club Championships. Approximately 400 athletes from 24 Clubs across the country took part in the coveted event.
The Golden Cheetah Athletics Club were the overall winners of the second leg of the Club series with a total of 91 points and were followed by Swakop Striders (67) and Oshakati Athletics Club (61).
Steel Force Motocross Cup in Olympia

It's that time of the year again! The Moto Cross season starts off on Saturday, 26th March on the new race track in Olympia, situated beneath the public swimming pool. Due to the municipality's unbureaucratic permission and with the support of the Windhoek City Police, it is possible to host this race in Olympia.
Messrs Steel Force cc. greatly supports this 1st WMCC (Windhoek Moto Cross Club) Championship race. The owner and manager of the company Günther Henle, active motorbike rider himself, is pleased with the new track in Olympia.
