Brave Warriors Starting line up vs Gambia
The Brave Warriors held their final training session at the Gambian Independence Stadium in Banjul on Friday afternoon, with coach Tom Saintfiet expressing his satisfaction with the session.
“It was our final training session before the game but also our first training session with the full group of players since March this year, but I am quite satisfied. Before the training we had a good tactical meeting where we repeated everything we have learnt over the past two years. It was a very interactive meeting and the players were very positive during the meeting.”
Namibia continued in their winning ways when they beat Kenya by 24 runs in a top of the log clash of the ICC Africa Under 19 World Cup qualifiers that are currently taking place in Windhoek.
The Namibians were the first ones to bat but the Kenyans restricted them to 188/9 after 50 overs. Gerhard Lotter was Namibia’s best batsman with 52 runs after he hit five fours and one six. Ray Savala got 2 wickets for 33 runs in 10 overs for Kenya.
