Brave Gladiators striker Emmerencia Kleintjie Fredericks struck an 86th minute freekick against Angola to send Namibia through 3-2 on aggregate to the next round of the African Women’s Championships 2010.
The Gladiators went into the match leading 2-1 on aggregate after the Windhoek first leg two weeks ago, but the return leg was always going to be difficult in front of 32 000 spectators cheering on the home team at the Obaka Stadium in Benguela.
