Four players of the Welwitschias rugby squad have been disciplined following transgressions during training ahead of Friday night’s Vodacom Cup encounter against the Falcons.

Loose forward Brandon Walters, scrumhalf Colin de Koe, utility back TC Losper and flanker Renaugh van Neel were issued with disciplinary actions, with Losper receiving a one match suspension and the remaining three players receiving monetary penalties.

Team manager Greg Olivier did not want to elaborate much, saying it was “a sensitive issue.”

Moto Cross season starts this coming Saturday

The Gallina Moto Cross Park, situated 15 km north, outside of Windhoek on the road towards Okahandja, will host this season's first race of the 2010 WMCC Moto Cross championships. Snyman Transport has generously sponsored the Windhoek Moto Cross Club (WMCC).

Our Namibian MX-stars and Quad-specialists have been waiting for this event for weeks and now, finally the season will kick off. The track at Gallina has undergone a couple of changes and there will also be a change in procedure.
