Brave Warriors to play Botswana

Quinton Jacobs

The Tafel Lager Brave Warriors will play Botswana at the National Rugby Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a friendly international encounter that will form part of Namibia’s 20th Independence Celebrations.

Since the Independence Stadium is still unavailable to stage soccer matches due to renovations to the pitch, the match will be played at the Hage Geingob National Rugby Stadium. This will allow people attending Independence Day festivities at the Independence Stadium to walk over to the adjacent Hage Geingob Stadium to attend the international soccer encounter.
