Namibia, Easterns in exciting tie

Namibia and Easterns played out to a thrilling tie in their One Day Challenge match at the Wanderers field on Sunday. Easterns seemed assured of winning the match when they tied Namibia’s score with two wickets and eight balls in hand, but a great fightback saw Namibia dismissing their last two batsmen as they held out for a draw.

Namibia won the toss and batted first, scoring 200 off their 40 overs and then dismissed Easterns for exactly the same score with three balls remaining.
