Border take 140-run lead
Submitted by editor on Fri, 01/08/2010 - 19:29.Border had taken a 140-run lead with eight second innings wickets remaining when bad light stopped play prematurely on the second day of their three-day CSA Challenge match against Namibia on Friday. After declaring at 275/7, Border dismissed Namibia for 193, and at stumps the visitors had reached 58/2.
Resuming at 20/1, Namibia struggled to make runs against Border’s accurate bowling. When Raymond van Schoor was dismissed for 10 off the bowling of Luthando Mnyanda, the score had crept up to 23 off 23 overs.
