Pupkewitz Jetty Mile

The annual Pupkewitz Jetty Mile takes place this Sunday, 27 December, starting at 3.30pm. The duathlon consists of a one mile sea swim from the Tiger Reef Beach Bar to the Mole and a one mile run back to the beach bar. Event organisers, Otb Sport, said that they expected well over 100 participants, and an intriguing and competitive race.

African Lions, Chelsea draw in top of the log clash

African Lions from Otjiwarongo maintained a narrow lead in the Otjozondjupa Second League after drawing 2-all against their closest rivals Chelsea from Grootfontein in an exciting encounter on Sunday. The result leaves both teams on 10 points from four matches each, although African Lions lead the log with a slightly better goal difference.

On Saturday, both teams maintained their unbeaten status as Chelsea thrashed bottom of the log Silent Killers 6-0, while Lions laboured to a 1-0 victory over Air Masters.
