Youth cricket tournament launched

Cricket Namibia on Tuesday received a total sponsorship of N$25 000 from Hollard Insurance and Shoprite Checkers for the hosting of an U15 Cricket Festival in Windhoek from September 2 to 6.
Five Namibian school teams will participate in the tournament namely, Windhoek High School Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaat Skool, Windhoek Gymnasium, Edugate and Elnatan, as well as three mixed development teams namely a Coastal team, a combined team from the Cricket Academy and Berg Op Academy and a combined team from HTS and Gobabis Gymnasium.
