Minister of Youth, National Service, Sport and Culture Reverend Willem Konjore on Monday denounced the poor administration of the All Namibia Netball Association and announced several measures to bring the once flourishing sport back on track.

Minister Konjore issued directives to the Namibia Sport Commission, to facilitate the holding of an ANNA extra ordinary meeting, to appoint an interim committee to run the affairs of netball until fresh elections are held, and to amend ‘numerous shortcoming’ in the ANNA constitution.

The international “Full Throttle AMU” is completed and was an enormous achievement by the WMCC. Now we can move on to the next national event at Gallina. This coming Saturday, 11th of July, the fifth Moto Cross Championship race will take place on the premises of the Waldschmidt poultry farm.

The series has reached the halfway stage and the riders have studied the points-table and gauged whether there is still room for improvement. One can imagine how tough the racing will be on the curvy sand track at Gallina Motocross Park.
