Daniela Lindemeier excelled at the Telkom SA National Level 3 Championships which took place in Sasolburg, South Africa from March 11 to 17, winning a gold and a bronze medal. Competing against more than 500 of the top junior swimmers in Africa, the level of competition was extremely high, but Lindemeier held her own against the best.
The 16-year-old Lindemeier won a gold medal in the 200m breaststroke final, after coming first in a time of 2:43:59. She also won a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke final after finishing third in a time of 1:16:97.
