Namibia were dismissed for 219 in their first innings on the opening day of their Cricket South Africa three-day match against Easterns at the Wanderers field on Thursday, while Easterns reached 23 without loss when rain ended play prematurely.

Cosafa Senior Challenge
Lesotho beat Mauritius 1-0 in the 2009 COSAFA Senior Challenge at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare on Wednesday, but it was not enough to see the Crocodiles through to the quarterfinals.
Hosts Zimbabwe will instead advance to the Last eight after they topped Group A at the tournament on goal-difference, and will await the results from Thursday's games to see whether they will play Comoros, Botswana or Swaziland in the next round.
