The Namibia Premier League resumes on Wednesday evening when log leaders Cymot SKW host African Stars at the SKW field in Olympia. A lot will be at stake as a victory for either team will play a significant role in their respective league campaigns. SKW currently lead the log with 15 points from six matches – one point ahead of second placed Orlando Pirates. If SKW win the match, they will open up a four-point gap at the top which will put the pressure on the other front runners to keep up with them.
Namibia’s cricket season starts in earnest this weekend when national trial matches will be held to select the national team for the final World Cup qualifiers in South Africa in April.
