Civics beat Ramblers 2-0 on Wednesday night to join Orlando Pirates at the top of the log on 35 points.
Patrick Mkontwana pounced on to a loose ball to open the scoring on 63 minutes while substitute Tugela Tuyeni made it 2-0 in injury time when he shot a corner clearance into the net.

WAG (Womens Artistic Gymnastics) Section

In Level 1 Marquerite Pickering scored 9.60 out of a possible 10 on the bar and a 9.30 on the beam. Kirsten Chiappini scored a 9.30 on the floor and Nicole Schmidt an 8.78 on vault. In Level 2 it was Duré Boshoff who scored 9.00 on the vault, Sharifa Bock 9.25 on bar and Renodine Groeneveld scored 9.30 on beam and floor. The level 1 & 2 2008 All Around Club Champion was Kirsten Chaippini with an average of 9.19

Namibia 5 Switzerland 2

Namibia won its first match at the World Junior Inline Hockey Championships when they beat Switzerland 5-2 on Monday. Gudrun Denker reports.
