New Brave Warriors coach Tom Saintfiet has reacted to reports that he was fired from his previous job in Finland, saying they were one-sided and not correct.

According to Internet reports, Saintfiet was fired after two months in charge at Finnish Premier League club Rovaniemen Palloseura ROPS, because the players were not happy with his coaching style.

There were no major surprises in the final 20-man Brave Warriors squad that left for South Africa today to compete in the Cosafa Cup competition in Mpumalanga.

Amongst the goalkeepers, Esau Tjiuoro makes way for recalled Abisai Shiningayamwe, while African Stars defender Dennis Ngueza, who was called up to the original 26-man squad has been dropped.

Tough-tackling Brave Warriors defender Hartman Toromba will be playing in the PSL once again after completing his move last week to Premiership outfit Free State Stars. His agent Collin April confirmed to Namibia Sport that the former Black Leopards defender has agreed to a two-year contract with Free State Stars.
