Ramblers beat Cymot SKW 2-0 on Sunday afternoon to go to the top of the MTC Namibia Premier League log.

First half goals by Nelson Akwenye and John Samson gave Ramblers victory which sees them overtaking SKW at the top of the log. With the league now at the halfway stage, Ramblers lead the log on 22 points, followed by SKW on 20 and Black Africa on 19.

Dan Craven and Mannie Heymans of Team Namibia finished 12th and 14th respectively at the Giro del Capo which finished in Cape Town on March 8.

The overall winner of the five-day stage race was the Austrian Christian Pfannberger of Team Barloworld, who completed the event in a combined time of 14 hours 38 minutes and 50 seconds.
