Ramblers, SKW match rained out

The top of the log clash between Ramblers and Cymot SKW was called off on Sunday when a thunderstorm interrupted play shortly before the end of the first half.

At that stage Ramblers were leading 2-0 through goals by Gerson Keister and Samson John and were seemed set to win the match.

Tigers, Arrows draw

Eleven Arrows held Tigers to a 1-all draw in the late game at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday evening.

Tigers did the early attacking, but Arrows took the lead against the run of play when Henry Somseb scored from the penalty spot after a foul in the box.

Pirates beat Gunners

Orlando Pirates beat Mighty Gunners 2-0 in an entertaining match at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

After some early attacks, Frans de Muinda opened the scoring when he headed in a great cross by Edian Beukes and on the stroke of halftime Riaan Cloete scored from the penalty spot after a Mighty Gunners defender had handled in the box.

Old Boys go top of womenâ??s log

Windhoek Old Boys held on for a 2-1 victory against DTS on Friday night to go to the top of the Omina Supplies Indoor Hockey Womenâ??s Premier League.

WOB took the lead through two first half goals by Tegan Rix, but DTS came back through a goal by Anri van den Berg just before halftime.
