Shipahu is leading goal scorer

Tangeni Shipahu of Tigers has taken the lead in the MTC Namibia Premier League goal scorers chart with four goals after completion of the third round of matches.
Shipahu scored a hattrick for Tigers in their 3-1 victory against Mighty Gunners on November 22 and added another goal from the penalty spot in Tigers’ 1-all draw against Orlando Pirates on November 29.
Tjongarero retains NNOC presidency
Submitted by admin on Mon, 12/01/2008 - 09:15.Agnes Tjongarero retained the presidency of the Namibia National Olympic Committee when she beat Kelly Nghixulifya 19-9 on Friday evening.
Callie Schaefer was voted in as the new secretary general, after beating the incumbent Abner Xoagub by 18 votes to 11.
Fanie Oosthuizen became the new treasurer after beating Frank Fredericks by 15 votes to 14, while another candidate, Monica Dahl withdrew her nomination.
The voting was done by representatives of sport codes affiliated to the NNOC, as well as the members of the existing NNOC executive committee.
