MTC renewed its sponsorship of Namibian cricket to an amount of N$2,3 million for the coming year.
At a press conference at the Wanderers Cricket Ground on Tuesday, MTC’s general manager corporate affairs Albertus Aochamub announced that they were contractually obliged to only invest N$2 million for the coming year, but they had opted to increase the total to N$2,3 million.

The Frank Fredericks Foundation handed over scholarships worth N$30 000 to promising young Namibian athletes on November 18.
The athletes were the top performers at the Coca Cola Frank Fredericks Invitational Athletics Meeting in April this year. Their results were determined by the IAAF ranking system.

Three athletes each received N$6 000 for exceptional performances in two categories.
