Namibia outshine Ireland with brilliant performance

Ireland won the match 32-17, but Namibia won the hearts of rugby fans all over the world with a brilliant display in their opening World Cup match on Sunday night.
No one had given Namibia a chance against one of the favourites for the World Cup, but Namibia rose to the occasion with a memorable and inspired performance.

Western Suburbs beat Unam 23-0 in a MTC Rugby Premier League match on Saturday to qualify for the MTC Premier League semifinals.
The students gave a great performance against Suburbs, on their home ground at Suburbs Park, and in fact dominated the set pieces in the first half. They had the upper hand in the scrums, winning two tight heads in the first half, but their backline wasted possession with far too many handling errors.

Wanderers, DTS draw

Wanderers and DTS drew 1-all in an Omina Supplies Hockey Premier League match on Saturday.
In a match of few chances, the teams weighed up evenly in the first half, with most of the action taking place in the midfield.
