Conradie accuses white group of sabotage
Submitted by editor on Tue, 09/18/2007 - 13:42.The president of the Namibia Rugby Union, Dirk Conradie accused a white group of trying to undermine their efforts and vowed not to quit as head of the NRU.
Conradie held a press conference in Windhoek to give feedback on his meeting with the Internationl Rugby Board in Paris on September 13. Here, the IRB upheld its ban on Conradie and NRU CEO Christo Alexander to attend the Rugby World Cupâ??s VIP programme, following perceived irregularities in the sale of Namibian tickets for the World Cup, while it also excluded the NRU from ticket sales for the next World Cup in 2011.
CBSA thrash Otjomuise

CBSA, who has already booked a place in the semifinals scheduled for September 29 could however only settle for a 1-all draw against Civics II on Sunday.

Brave Warriors to play Morocco
Submitted by editor on Tue, 09/18/2007 - 07:59.The Brave Warriors will play a friendly match against Morocco in Casablanca on October 17 as part of their preparations for the 2008 African Cup of Nations finals.
The acting secretary general of the Namibia Football Association, Barry Rukoro confirmed the match to Namibia Sport, adding that they were trying to tie up another friendly match in north Africa.
