Sport Star of the Year nominees
Submitted by editor on Thu, 09/13/2007 - 14:55.The Namibia Sport Commission has named ten Namibian sportsmen and women as candidates for a Sports Star of the Year award at the annual Sport Awards Ceremony on October 19.
The Sports Star of the Year award is a new category that aims to honour Namibiaâ??s most popular sportsman or woman. According to the NSC, a nominee doesnâ??t necessarily have to be an active sportsman or woman, but can also be someone who has done a lot for sport.
Namibian team for France
Submitted by editor on Thu, 09/13/2007 - 14:18.Namibian rugby coach Hakkies Husselman has made two changes to his team to take on France in their second Rugby World Cup match in Toulouse, France on Sunday.
Jurie van Tonder replaces Eugene Jantjies at scrumhalf, while Michael McKenzie comes in for the injured Heino Senekal at flank.
Civics I favourites in youth championships

The last league matches will be played on September 19 to determine the winners of the two streams.
Hummel plans comeback

The Moroka Swallows player told Kickoff.com that he would consider going back to the national team, despite having announced his retirement from international football in July this year.
