Namibia to compete in Obersee Master Fistball Cup

Namibiaâ??s national fistall team complete their preparations for the Fistbll World Championships today, when they will compete in the 53rd Obersee Master Fistball Cup in Jona, Switzerland.
The Obersee Master Fistball Cup is one of the biggest fistball cup competitions in Europe and always attracts top teams from all over the world.

A meagre return for Team Namibia

Namibiaâ??s meagre return of one silver and two bronze medals from last monthâ??s All Africa Games in Algeria, was certainly disappointing and substantially less than expected.

Namibia crash out of Cosafa Cup

The Brave Warriorsâ?? dismal run in the Cosafa Castle Cup competition continued when they lost 1-0 to Botswana in Gaborone on July 28.
It was the eighth consecutive year that Namibia had crashed out in the first round of the lucrative competition, with their last first round victory coming way back in 1999 when they reached the final against Angola.
