Shiyuka to stay on at Civics

Retired footballer Amos Shiyuka, who led Civics to an unprecedented third title in a row last season, is to stay on at the Bethlehem Boys in a new role.
Civicsâ?? assistant coach Jorge de Purificao confirmed to Namibia Sport on Wednesday that they have held numerous meetings regarding the future of Shiyuka at the club. He said Shiyuka is likely to be retained in a marketing portfolio at the club, but could also not shed much light on the issue as the clubâ??s president Helmuth Scharnowski is said to be out of the country.

The Namibia Football Association (NFA) is not experiencing money problems ahead of the Brave Warriors last African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers tie against Ethiopia on September 8.
