Immanuel Naidjala gave a great all-round display to convincingly beat Antebicha Duguma of Ethiopia 29-12 on points in a bantamweight bout at the All Africa Games on July 14.
Moving well, Naidjala started off with some quick jabs and hooks, but the Ethiopian also landed some solid blows towards the end of the first round, which Naidjala shaded.
It was a disastrous day for Namibia at the cycling road race on Saturday, July 14, as only Ananias Ananias managed to complete the race, way down the field.

Namibian lightweight boxer Julius Indongo was in explosive form against Gaasite Gomdtsang of Botswana on July 13, winning the fight on a third round technical knock out.
He attacked from the start and raked in the points with fast combinations to take a 12-3 lead by the end of the first round.
