Namibiaâ??s Brave Warriors gave an encouraging performance against Primero de Agosto of Angola on Friday night, winning the match 2-1.
Wilko Risser scored both Namibiaâ??s goals, while Milanzi scored Primeroâ??s goal late in the match.

SKW Old Boys missed the finals by one point at the worldâ??s biggest Old Boys Tournament.
What a Tournament it was. A total of 152 teams entered the worldâ??s biggest Old Boys Tournament which was played in the Vogtland (Germany). The different categories were over 35 and over 50 years of age.

Namibiaâ??s Brave Warriors beat Angolan Premier League champions Primero de Agosto 2-1 in a friendly soccer match at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on June 8.
Wilko Risser, the brother of Brave Warriors midfielder Oliver Risser scored both goals â?? one in each half â?? while Milanzi scored for Primero late in the second half.

Fistball League in Windhoek

This coming weekend the third round of the National Fistball League takes place at the SKW fields in Olympia, starting at 08h30.
In the National â??Aâ?? league, the top game will be between the two arch-rivals from Windhoek, Cohen and SKW. Both teams are currently tied at the top of the log with the same number of points. It will be the first game of the day and will have a huge effect on the outcome of the league, as the winner will take a clear advantage into the rest of the season.

Jacobs, Tjikuzu not in squad for DRC match

Brave Warriors coach Ben Bamfuchile said that discipline in his squad would be of paramount importance and that Quinton Jacobs and Razundara Tjikuzu would not be called up for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against the DR Congo on June 16.

Brave Warriors to play Primero de Agosto

Namibiaâ??s Brave Warriors will play a friendly match against Angolaâ??s Premier League champions, Primeiro de Agosto at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on June 8.
At a press conference at Soccer House on June 6, the NFAâ??s spokesman Beau Kauta said the match would start at 19h00, while the entrance fee would be N$10 for adults and N$5 for children. He added that this would be the first of four friendly matches that Primero will play in Namibia over the next week.

Tough battle in Northern Stream First Division

Chief Santos from Tsumeb and Mighty Gunners from Otjiwarongo are fighting it out to finish top of the Northern Stream First Division League log and gain promotion to the Namibia Premier league.
Chief Santos currently lead the log with 49 points from 22 matches, but Mighty Gunners are just three points behind with two matches in hand.

Namibia lose narrowly to Georgia

Namibia lost 26-18 to Georgia in their opening match at the IRB Nations Cup tournament in Bucharest, Romania on June 5.
The victory will be a psychological boost for Georgia who will meet Namibia in Group D of the World Cup in France in September.
