Orlando Pirates beat Ramblers 2-1 at the Kuisebmond Stadium on Saturday to progress to the final of the MTC NFA Cup.
With Klaas Blom and Patrick Jagger in brilliant form, the defending champions Pirates gave an electrifying performance to book their second successive final.

Namibiaâ??s Commonwealth welterweight boxing champion Paulus â??Aliâ? Nuumbembe was welcomed as a hero by President Hifikipunye Pohamba at State House on April 5.
Nuumbembe arrived at the Hosea Kutako International Airport where he was met by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport, Pohamba Shifeta, the president of the Namibia Amateur Boxing Federation Kelly Nghixulifwa and several members of the boxing fraternity. They included Namibiaâ??s other two professional champions â?? Paulus â??The Hitmanâ? Moses, who holds the WBA Pan African and Intercontinental Lightweight titles and Jason Naule, who holds the WBA Pan African Junior Welterweight title.

Otjozondjupa First Division team Mighty Gunners face African Stars in the first semifinal at 14h00, while defending champions Orlando Pirates face Kingsley Ramblers at 16h00.

The FIFA Com-Unity workshop in Namibia was concluded on April 25 with several resolutions adopted to enhance co-operation between the NFA and its stakeholders as well as to prepare for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

Gobabis was the scene of the 4. Moto Cross Championships race and so far it was without exaggerating, the highlight of the season. Wikus Engelbrecht, the driving force behind this spectacle in Gobabis, has done a great job organising the event together with his men. Everything was just perfect! The track was exceptional and the 30-metre jump just in front of the beer-tent was the attraction. A big thank you goes to Tobie Barlow.

Last week National Cycling team member Dan Craven competed in the French Tour du Loir et Cher with his European team, TeamFidiBC.com.
The four-day, 750km tour was held just to the south of Paris in perfect weather which made for one happy Namibian in Europe.
