Mighty Gunners produced the biggest shock of the MTC NFA Cup quarterfinals when they knocked Black Africa out at the Oshakati Stadium on Saturday.
The Otjozondjupa First Division champions stunned Black Africa with two goals within three minutes in the second half, and although BA veteran Masepo Dausab managed to pull one back from a freekick, Mighty Gunners held on for a memorable victory.

The Namibian newspaper announced a sponsorship of N$660 000 for the annual Namibian Newspaper Cup which takes place in Keetmanshoop from April 6-9.
At a press conference at the NFAâ??s Soccer House in Katutura, the editor of The Namibian, Gwen Lister said the tournament had grown by leaps and bounds.

Namibian national cyclist Dan Craven has rejoined his professional cycling team, Team Fidibc.com in Europe and recently started competing in races in Switzerland.
Cycling in snowy conditions, Craven came 24th in the GP de Courtine last Sunday and 64th in the Giro del Mendrisiotto the previous weekend.

A number of Namibian swimmers recently participated at the Telkom SA Level 2 and Level 3 galas held at Newcastle and East London, respectively.
At the Level 2 Gala which was held from 20 â?? 24 March 2007, the best individual performance belonged to the young Nadine Arlove when she swam a time of 1:08.00 in the 100 metres freestyle (women 12 and under), thereby accumulating a total of 501 FINA points.
