SWD too slick for Namibia

South Western Districts comfortably won their second match against a Namibian invitation team 54-12 at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek on Friday night.
After a young and inexperienced Namibian team lost the first encounter 64-7 on Wednesday, Namibian coach Johan Venter selected a more experienced team for the second encounter.

Namibia lose final test 8-0

Namibia lost their final indoor hockey test 8-0 to South Africa in Durban on Thursday night after trailing 5-0 at halftime.
After their fine performance the previous evening, when they lost the third test 3-1, Namibia couldnâ??t raise their standard of play sufficiently and were comprehensively outplayed by South Africa.
