NFA establishes ties with German counterparts
Submitted by editor on Mon, 10/15/2007 - 13:56.The Duetsche Fussball Bund (DFB) has agreed to assist the Namibia Football Association (NFA) with the preparation of the Brave Warriors ahead of the African Nations Cup. The agreement will see the national team travelling to Germany for a two-week training camp before the main showcase in Ghana next year.

Fedics United FC coach Wolfgang Cloete said he tried in vain to lift the spirits of his youthful side in the 3-0 defeat to Namibia Premier League (NPL) log leaders Orlando Pirates at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday evening.

The newcomers from Keetmanshoop displayed some good and skilful and attacking football, with Shayur McKay and Jacobus Geixob catching the eye in midfield, but they couldnâ??t make use of their chances.
