All systems go for MTC NFA Cup final

Both SKW and Orlando Pirates are fit and ready for Saturday's much anticipated MTC NFA Cup final. This was said by the two team's respective coaches at a press conference at Soccer House today.
â??I'm very proud of my team for the fantastic soccer we delivered throughout the season. Hopefully we'll win,â? said Richard Starcker, coach of SKW. â??I've got a system that the players must implement. If they do, we'll walk away with the cup.â?

Aida Auas View Equestrian Championships

More than 100 riders and horses participated in the Aida Auas View Annual Equestrian Championships at the Auas Valley Stables in Windhoek on May 27 and 28.
One of the highlights of the event was a new competition, the Verizon Auas View Master Championships, which offered N$5 000 in prize money.

Namibian Women's Open

The Bank Windhoek Namibia Amateur Ladies Open / Closed Golf Championship will take place at the Windhoek Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday 3 and 4 June 2006. Bank Windhoek has been the main sponsor of this sporting event for the past 19 consecutive years.
