Namibia qualified for the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France after convincingly beating Morroco 52-15 on aggregate, home and away over the past month.
Namibia won the first leg encounter 25-7 in Windhoek on October 28, and then put in a superb performance to beat Morocco 27-8 in Casablanca on November 11.
Richard Himmel and Adolf Botes kept Namibiaâ??s flag flying high when they won the Total Tara Rally in their Toyota Corolla last month.
In one of the closest rallies in recent years, they beat compatriots Michael Rust and Jaco van Dyk in a Landcruiser by a mere 23 seconds, to win the Total Tara Rally for the second time, following their first triumph in 1999. But their good fortune was also due to the misfortune of South Africaâ??s two entrants who both had to retire after leading the rally.
