Hoffmann beats Heymans to win Kermesse
Submitted by editor on Sun, 11/05/2006 - 13:38.Erik Hoffmann beat Mannie Heymans in a sprint to the line to win the Elite Menâ??s category at the Business Connexion Cycling Kermesse in Kleine Kuppe on November 4.
Hoffmann has been in fine form of late after he also won the Namibian Time Trial Championships the previous weekend.

With the 2006/07 soccer season due to start on November 11, several teams sharpened up their preparations with some final friendly matches in Windhoek over the weekend.
On Friday night SKW beat newly promoted Friends 4-0 in a one-sided affair at the DTS field in Olympia.
Omaheke win Youth Cup gold
Submitted by editor on Sun, 11/05/2006 - 12:13.Omaheke beat St Georges 2-0 to win the Under 15 final of the inaugural Dr Agatha Pilmannova Youth Cup on Saturday, November 4.
The Youth Cup was named after the late Dr Agatha Pilmanova, wife of Civics president Helmut Scharnowski who died suddenly in June 2005. Close to 30 teams from schools, clubs and soccer academies participated in the tournament at the Gammams Field in Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age group categories.
