Warriors determined to win

The Brave Warriors are hungry for success and determined to beat Ethiopia in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in Windhoek on Saturday.
National coach Ben Bamfuchile told Namibia Sport yesterday that the players were devastated after last monthâ??s 3-2 loss to the DR Congo and are now determined to make amends against Ethiopia.

Futures tournament seeding unveiled

The seeding of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Futures tournament to take place at the Central Tennis Club in Windhoek has been announced.
The tournament will run from October 9 to 14 and will feature players from countries such as Italy, Romania, France, Sweden, India, Russia, Tunisia, the USA, the UK, Morocco, Korea, Tunisia, South Africa, Botswana and the Czech Republic. Namibiaâ??s Jurgens Strydom is ranked number 10 for the tournament and has been accepted directly into the main draw. Strydom is ranked 1273 in the world.
