Namibians excel at World Swimming Championships

The young Namibian swimmers Jonay Briedenhann, Alex Ray and Dannielle van Zijl proved at the World Championships in Montreal, Canada that they can compete with the best, are worth their mettle and are a force to be reckoned with in future!

Davin loses in first round

Top-seeded Suzelle Davin was knocked out of the first round of the girls? singles competition at the ITF?s South & Central African Junior Tennis tournament in Windhoek on August 1.
Namibian national, Davin was beaten in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4 by South Africa?s Jane Pringle.
