Namibia too strong for Papua New Guinea

Namibia comfortably beat Papua New Guinea by 98 runs in Newforge, Ireland on July 2 to stay in contention for a spot at the 2007 World Cup.
After losing their opening match by a mere two runs, the spirit in the camp was down, but Namibia produced a professional display against PNG.

Namibia lose nailbiter to Canada

Namibia came desperately close to beating Canada before losing by two runs in their opening ICC Trophy match in Ireland on July 1.
Canada batted first and posted a huge total of 284 runs off their 50 overs. Sarel Burger made an early breakthrough by removing opener Desmond Chumney for 2, but their star batsman John Davison then came to Canada?s rescue. He scored 125 runs off only 93 balls, which included 16 fours and 5 sixes, before eventually being caught by Stephan Swanepoel off the bowling of JB Burger.
