Namibia?s World Cup dream finally ended when the United Arab Emirates beat them by 4 wickets in a third-place play-off match at Malahide, Ireland on July 9.
Namibia had to beat the UAE to stay in contention for the fifth qualifying spot for the 2007 World Cup, but their score of 240 in 50 overs was not enough as the UAE reached the total with three overs remaining.
