Namibia will send a team of nine wrestlers to the Commonwealth Senior Wrestling Championships, which take place in Stellenbosch, South Africa from June 30 to July 2.
The team will be headed by Nico Jacobs who represented Namibia at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, where he was eliminated in the first round.

A 24-member Namibian junior invitational squash team which recently took part in the South African Country Schools Squash Festival in Bloemfontein, South Africa, performed admirably against their South African counterparts.

The senior girl?s hockey team of Windhoek High School (WHS) won the Kom-en-Hall Tournament for girls, at the Doc Jubber hockey fields in Windhoek on June 4.
WHS girls defeated Mariental High School 6-1 in the final.
