Brave Warriors supporters called

With only about a day to go before the final leg of the preliminary round of the African Nations Championships (CHAN) match between Namibia and Zimbabwe, the Brave Warriors Supporters Club (BWSC) is calling on all Namibians to rally behind the national team on Saturday.

The Brave Warriors will face the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Independence Stadium with kick-off slated for 15h00. The first leg took place in Harare a fortnight ago and ended in a 0-0 draw.

The chairman of the BWSC Kayele Kambombo is confident that the Brave Warriors will pull off a victory against Zimbabwe if afforded the much-needed support.

â??â??Let us give our players the support they need to take Namibia to the next round. Supporters should come in big numbers on Saturday,â??â?? said Kambombo.

â??â??The will be a must-win encounter to see Namibia through to the next round of the championship. To achieve that feat, we must pack the Independence Stadium to capacity and cheer on our national team.

â??â??I urge all patriotic Namibians and sympathisers to bring along anything that makes noise, such as drums, vuvuzelas and so on. Every supporter should bring along the national flag and sport the BWSC T-Shirt to make the stadium colourful.â??â??
