Namibiaâ??s professional boxer Wilberforce Shihepo has once again shown what he is made of on foreign soil after defeating South African Isack Chilemba in a light heavy boxing bout held in South Africaâ??s Johannesburg on June 5.

Both boxers could only settle their differences until the final sixth round, although Shihepo sent the Malawian-born Chilemba to the ropes as early as the third round.

The fight was the main supporting bout for the lightweight World title eliminator fight between Cassius Baloyi and Manuel Medina who hail from Mexico, which ended in a technical draw.

Shihepo alias The Black Mamba, described his opponent as a tricky customer to deal with and a very tough boxer. â??The guy is stronger than me and I was just too clever for him although the fight was very tough,â? he said.

Shihepoâ??s mentor and local Boxing promoter Nestor â??Sunshineâ?? Tobias, while admitting that the fight was tough had high praise for his boxer and described Shihepo as the better man. Shihepo now boast a total of ten wins and four losses from his 14 professional fights of which eight includes technical knockouts.

According to Tobias, Shihepo is further expected to be in action at the Telecom Boxing Dine Bonanza, slated for August 11 at the Windhoek Country Club, Resort and Casino.
